Private chefs can make every type of meal, be it a casual lunch or a formal dinner. They’re adept not just at preparing food but at presenting and serving it as well.
The chef will also be responsible for any food required for special events and holidays. That means meal planning and preparation; shopping for all groceries and kitchen supplies, and cleaning up after each meal.
This position demands a high level of culinary skills, including the ability to provide for any number of dietary restrictions, as well as a wide variety of cuisines.
While it is very likely that Chef will be expected to meet with someone in the family to discuss what meals will be preferred at any given time, it is of utmost importance that the family be able to have all of their food-related needs met without having to worry about a single detail of preparation or execution.
