Registration
We look forward to helping you find domestic employees who can make your lives easier, smoother, and happier. Here is the process we believe works best to achieve that goal. In order to start the process, you simply need to contact us. You may do so by phone, email, or submitting the application form on this website. This will give us an idea of what you are looking for in a new domestic employee.
Sign the Agency Agreement
Once you are sure we have everything we need to begin searching for a suitable candidate, please read the Work Agreement carefully, and then sign it. After we receive the signed Work Agreement and the $500 Registration Fee, we will contact you to make an appointment for a full consultation. While the Registration Fee is non-refundable, it will be applied to the Placement Fee once we place someone with you.
Consultation
This is where we discover everything you are looking for in a candidate. We ask about your values, requests, preferences, and needs. But don’t worry if you aren’t absolutely sure about exactly what you need, this is where our experience is extremely useful. We know the questions to ask that will help you to determine what your priorities are, which will be important in ensuring that you are paired with the most suitable candidate.
Candidate Search, Screening & Interview
Once the consultation is completed, we create a job description that includes all of the factors that were discussed. Since we maintain a database of potential candidates, it’s entirely possible that we may already know of someone who would fit the description. If not, we will search for others.
Then we will screen through all of the possibilities to find those candidates we believe will suit you best, and send you a select few resumes to consider. Once you’ve determined which ones interest you most, we will set up appointments for you to interview them.
Our screening methods are so precise that many of our clients end up hiring one of the first few applicants that they interview. However, we will continue the process until you have found exactly the domestic employee that you are looking for.
Background check and in-home Trial
We understand that it takes a leap of faith on both sides for strangers to co-exist in a domestic setting. It is because everyone’s safety is of paramount importance to us that we make it a point to get to know our clients and candidates so that we are not recommending strangers to each other.
All of our candidates are submitted to rigorous screening, we:
• Conduct interviews
• Check references
• Perform thorough background checks
Although our placement process is extremely comprehensive, we strongly recommend having an in-home trial period before making the candidate an official job offer. Please note that these trials are paid, so you want to have the employee maintain the exact same schedule and routine during the trial period as they will once they become a permanent member of your staff.
Work Agreement and Placement Fee
If your new employee proves to be satisfactory during the trial period, then the two of you will sign a Work Agreement. This document helps to ensure that both of you have the same expectations of the position by clearly listing the employee’s:
• Duties
• Responsibilities
• Pay
• Benefits
• Leave Options
Communication and understanding are key to maintaining a smooth relationship with domestic employees. Everyone will be much happier if they know what is expected of them.
